WHERE CHURCH IS FAMILY

&

FAMILY IS CHURCH

Our History

LifeHouse Church began in 1987 as the Spanish ministry of Shiloh Christian Ministries under Pastors Luis and Ruth Villalvazo. The ministry continued to grow reaching the hispanic community of the surrounding area. Circa the year 2000, the pastors and leadership of Shiloh sent LifeHouse out as a church plant. The church continued to grow and many families were won and transformed for the gospel. Then the church began to reach more and more mixed families (a hispanic married to a non-hispanic). More and more the demand for bilingual ministry became clear and in the early 2000’s began to morph into a fully Spanish/English ministry. In 2009 pastor Luis passed away and his son Jorge and his wife Kristia were named lead pastors. Under their leadership, LifeHouse continued to grow and started an English service reaching more and more families. Today, LifeHouse is a flourishing church with an English service, a bilingual service, a number of LifeGroups around Sierra Vista and Douglas, a thriving children’s ministry and a powerful youth ministry. LifeHouse continues with a dedication to the Word of God, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, passionate worship, and a focus on discipling others to become fruitful members in the harvest.
